Job summary

RSL LifeCare is seeking a Support Worker to assist veterans and seniors in their own homes across NSW. You will help with personal care, provide respite support to carers, and encourage clients to stay active in the community.

A caring nature and strong communication are essential, with duties following tailored care plans. The role requires a Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.

• Pay rate: up to $38.22 per hour (based on experience)

To succeed in this role we'd expect you to have:

• A caring nature - genuinely passionate about helping people
• Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability
• Good communication skills with the ability chat and listen to clients and team members
• Ability to work independently & comfortable using technology
• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured car
• A Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one)
• Experience in aged care or disability support
• First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to get one)

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
