Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a Home Care Worker to support elderly clients in their own homes around Nambucca Heads. This permanent part-time role focuses on practical in-home assistance, enabling independence and comfort.

You will help with housekeeping, meal prep, transport to appointments, personal care, and medication assistance, with flexible hours and travel time. A Certificate III/IV in Aged Care is required along with a valid Australian driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in aged or community care preferred.
• Valid Australian driver's license and access to insured vehicle.
• Flexibility to accommodate evolving client schedules.

Responsibilities

• Help at home: assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Transport for wellbeing: escort clients to appointments, shopping trips and social activities.
• Personal care: support with hygiene, showering, dressing, meal assistance and medication administration.

Pay Rate: $31.14 - $35.98 per hour + 99c per km and travel time

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, or a strong desire to begin a career in aged care.

• A provisional or full Australian driving license and access to a comprehensively insured, reliable vehicle.
