Wellways is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker for casual shifts across our Queensland service area. You will provide person-centered support to individuals living with disability in their home environments, promoting safety, dignity and wellbeing.
The role offers a variety of shifts, including overnight and weekends, with SCHADS Level 2B pay of $46.70 per hour plus penalties, super and salary packaging.
Wellways is looking for a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our supportive team on a casual basis. This role is ideal for someone who brings warmth, patience and genuine care to their work, with experience in mental health highly regarded.
You will deliver person-centred support to individuals living with disability, ensuring they feel safe, valued and supported in their everyday lives. This role offers a variety of shifts designed to suit your lifestyle, including overnight and weekend work, while providing 24/7 care to participants in their home environment.
You bring a caring and compassionate approach to supporting people with disability and are reliable, dependable and committed to consistently showing up for participants. Experience supporting people living with mental health challenges is highly regarded. You are comfortable working overnight and weekend shifts and have a genuine willingness to learn, with training provided.
Previous experience working in disability, community services or mental health is valued. We also recognise the importance of life experience, including experiences gained as a carer, parent or through supporting others.
