Job summary

Kanda on the Gold Coast provides SDA and SIL support in people’s homes and communities, helping clients gain confidence and independence while building meaningful relationships. You will move between shared SDA settings and more individualised SIL homes, assisting with daily routines and personal care.

We offer paid induction and real shadow shifts to get you started, with pay from $35–$46 per hour plus super and penalties.

Qualifications

• Experience in SDA or SIL or similar community care setting.
• Ability to support complex behaviours or higher support needs.
• Calm, flexible and steady when situations shift.
• Works well both independently and as part of a team.
• Clear communication, good records and understanding professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

Across Kanda's Gold Coast SDA and SIL services, you'll provide that support in people's homes and communities, building relationships that help people work towards the goals that matter most to them.

What you'll be doing
