Kingston City Council is seeking Home Support workers to provide compassionate in-home assistance to elderly and disabled residents across Kingston. Roles offer five hours per day across four or five days, with Band 1 (non-qualified) or Band 2 (qualified) options and a focus on independence and quality of life.

Our role involves providing compassionate, personalised support to Kingston residents who are elderly, frail, or living with disabilities. We deliver essential in-home care services designed to help individuals maintain their independence and quality of life.
As a support worker within the AccessCare team at the City of Kingston, you’ll have the opportunity to assist individuals of all ages, including the elderly and people with disabilities, to remain living independently in their own homes.
You will bring exceptional interpersonal skills to foster authentic relationships with our clients. With a naturally kind and compassionate disposition, you are genuinely dedicated to ensuring that our most vulnerable community members feel safe, respected, and heard.
All applicants must have the physical capacity to undertake homecare tasks, excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
