Job summary

Simply Helping Northern Tasmania is expanding its home care team and seeking dedicated Support Workers. You will provide personalised care in clients' homes, helping them live independently with dignity, while building trusting relationships and supporting daily activities.

Ideal candidates have a Certificate III in Individual Support or higher, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach. A valid driver’s licence and vehicle are required for travel within the local area.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or higher.
• Previous experience in home care or related field (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine empathy, compassion and respect for individuals with diverse needs.
• Reliability and a vehicle suitable for travel up to 40 minutes.
• Flexibility to meet varying needs of Service Users.

Responsibilities

What You Bring

• Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or Higher
• Previous experience in home care or a related field (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Genuine empathy, compassion, and respect for individuals with diverse needs
• Reliability, trustworthiness, and a vehicle suitable for travel up to 40 minutes
