Job summary

Wellways Australia is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our team in Wonthaggi and surrounding areas. You will support individuals under their NDIS plans with daily living, transport, and community participation, often involving outdoor activities and personal care.

A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel across East Gippsland are essential. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering person-centered support with empathy, flexibility, and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 or 4 in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care or Home and Community Care (desirable).
• Right to Work in Australia.
• Current valid driver’s licence and willingness to undertake travel for work.
• Current Motor Vehicle Insurance.
• Satisfactory National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to undertake.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
• Physically capable of delivering personal care to participants.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to achieve personal goals by delivering services under their NDIS plans.
• Assist with daily living, transport, community and social participation, and building everyday life skills.
• Drive to various locations across East Gippsland to deliver support services; valid licence and willingness to travel required.

About The Opportunity
