Job summary

Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT is seeking a reliable Part-Time Bus Driver for the North Turramurra facility. You will transport residents safely to designated locations, ensuring comfort and punctual arrivals and departures.

The role requires working Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, with responsibilities including vehicle inspection, basic maintenance, and supporting staff during outings to ensure a positive resident experience.

Qualifications

• HV Licence required.
• Reliable, punctual and residents-focused.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive residents to all designated locations, ensuring on-time arrivals and departures
• Inspect the vehicle and ensure it’s safe and ready for each trip
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep the bus clean inside and out
• Maintain accurate records of trips, incidents, and vehicle maintenance
• Assist staff with residents during outings, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience

About the Role

Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT is seeking a reliable Part-Time Bus Driver (Wednesday and Friday, 9am to 3.30pm) to support our North Turramurra facility. You will be responsible for safely transporting residents to designated locations, ensuring their comfort and safety while maintaining prompt arrivals and departures.

The successful candidate will be required to work across two locations: North Turramurra (two days per week)

The shift schedule is outlined below:

• North Turramurra - 9 am -3:30pm (Wednesday & Friday)
