Job summary

Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT is seeking a reliable Part-Time Bus Driver for our North Turramurra facility. You will safely transport residents to designated locations, maintain timely arrivals and departures, and ensure the vehicle is safe and ready for each trip.

The successful candidate will work two days per week at the North Turramurra location, with shifts on Wednesday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Join SCC (NSW & ACT) to contribute to high-quality residential care and community wellbeing.

Qualifications

• LRV license to drive a bus.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• Reliable, punctual and resident-focused.
• Friendly, patient and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to designated locations and back.
• Ensure on-time arrivals and departures.
• Inspect vehicle for safety before each trip.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and bus cleaning.
• Maintain trip and maintenance records and assist during outings.

About the Role

Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT is seeking a reliable Part-Time Bus Driver to support our North Turramurra facility. You will be responsible for safely transporting residents to designated locations, ensuring their comfort and safety while maintaining prompt arrivals and departures.

What You’ll Be Doing

Safely drive residents to all designated locations, ensuring on-time arrivals and departures

Inspect the vehicle and ensure it’s safe and ready for each trip

Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep the bus clean inside and out

Maintain accurate records of trips, incidents, and vehicle maintenance

Assist staff with residents during outings, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience

Requirements

LRV Licensed Bus Driver

Current First Aid & CPR certification
