Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is seeking experienced Support Needs Assessors to join a Federal Government client on a full-time contract. You will conduct person-centred assessments, interpret evidence and prepare clear, defensible recommendations.

You will work directly with participants and stakeholders, delivering assessments in both virtual and face-to-face settings, applying relevant policies and frameworks while prioritising ethical and trauma-informed practice.

Qualifications

• Recognised tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (eg Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology).
• Experience in support needs assessments or similar frameworks.
• Ability to interpret evidence and provide clear, defensible recommendations.
• Commitment to person-centred, inclusive and trauma-informed practice.
• Sound judgement, professionalism and ethical integrity.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience working within or knowledge of NDIS or similar frameworks (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

In this role, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred assessments, working directly with participants to identify and articulate their support needs in a clear, evidence-based and respectful manner.
