Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is seeking experienced Support Needs Assessors to join a Federal Government client on a full-time contract in Townsville. You will deliver person-centred assessments, work directly with participants to identify and articulate their support needs in a clear, evidence-based and respectful manner.

Essential requirements include a recognised tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and experience in support needs assessments or similar frameworks, with knowledge of NDIS

Qualifications

• Recognised tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology.
• Experience in support needs assessments or similar frameworks.
• Experience in assessment, interviewing or case management.
• Ability to interpret evidence and provide clear, defensible recommendations.
• Commitment to person-centred, inclusive and trauma-informed practice.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of NDIS or similar frameworks (highly regarded).

  • Exercise Physiology, Dietetics, Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Nursing (RN/EN), Education-qualified clinicians
  • NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner

• Experience in support needs assessments or similar frameworks
• Understanding of person-centred and strengths-based approaches
