Job summary

Calleo is seeking two experienced Support Field Infrastructure Engineers to support the delivery and operation of critical ICT infrastructure services for a Federal Government client in Australia. The roles focus on incident management, data centre operations, and infrastructure projects in a complex enterprise environment.

You will provide technical advice, coordinate changes, and lead incident response, while contributing to service improvement through documentation and governance practices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting and maintaining enterprise ICT infrastructure environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management and problem-resolution capabilities.
• Experience with systems installation, infrastructure deployments and operational support activities.
• Exposure to data centre environments and associated infrastructure management practices.
• Ability to work within structured ICT governance frameworks and produce high-quality technical documentation.

Job description

One of our long-standing Federal Government clients is seeking two experienced Support Field Infrastructure Engineers to support the delivery and operation of critical ICT infrastructure services. Working within a complex enterprise environment, you will contribute to infrastructure projects, data centre operations, incident management, and service improvement initiatives that underpin essential government services.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing technical advice and support to project teams and business stakeholders across infrastructure initiatives.
• Coordinating infrastructure changes, installations, and operational activities within enterprise ICT environments.
• Leading incident response activities, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Supporting data centre operations, including rack allocation, power utilisation, and cabling management.
• Developing technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures while identifying opportunities for service improvement.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:

• Demonstrated experience supporting and maintaining enterprise ICT infrastructure environments.
