Job summary

Vinidex, part of the Aliaxis group, is seeking an experienced Supply Planner – Raw Materials to join our Smithfield team. You will plan and replenish raw material inventories to support multiple manufacturing sites, partnering with suppliers and internal stakeholders to balance supply, service levels and working capital.

You will analyse demand and trends, manage supplier commitments, coordinate inbound logistics, and drive continuous improvement in planning processes across Manufacturing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in Supply Planning, Materials Planning, Purchasing or Inventory Management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Autonomous with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Detail‑oriented with continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with local and international suppliers and managing supply risk.
• APICS/CPIM qualifications will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory performance and optimise replenishment strategies.

• Maintain accurate planning parameters and master data.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning effectiveness and efficiency.
• Build strong relationships across Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics and Commercial teams.

About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experience Supply Planner – Raw Materials to join our high performing team in Smithfield.

Reporting to the Raw Materials Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for planning and replenishing raw material inventory to support manufacturing operations across multiple sites.

You’ll work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure material availability while balancing inventory, service levels and working capital objectives.

What You’ll Do
