Job summary

Vinidex, part of Aliaxis APAC, seeks an experienced Supply Planner – Raw Materials to guarantee uninterrupted raw material supply across its national manufacturing network in Smithfield. You will partner with suppliers, manufacturing teams and stakeholders to optimise inventory, manage supply risk and drive performance.

Reporting to the Raw Materials Purchasing Manager, you will plan and replenish inventory to support multiple sites, balancing inventory levels with service and working capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience in supply planning, materials planning, purchasing or inventory management within manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building capabilities.
• Autonomous, proactive with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute raw material supply plans to support manufacturing requirements.
• Manage purchasing activities and supplier commitments to ensure continuity of supply.
• Coordinate inbound logistics with suppliers, freight forwarders and 3PL providers.
• Monitor inventory performance and optimise replenishment strategies.
• Identify, escalate and mitigate supply risks before they impact operations.
• Analyse demand, inventory and supply trends to support decision-making.
• Maintain accurate planning parameters and master data.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning effectiveness and efficiency.
• Build strong relationships across Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics and Commercial teams.

About the Role

Play a key role in ensuring the uninterrupted supply of raw materials across Vinidex's national manufacturing network. This is an opportunity to join a market-leading manufacturer where you'll partner with suppliers, manufacturing teams and key stakeholders to optimise inventory, manage supply risk and drive supply chain performance.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experience Supply Planner – Raw Materials to join our high performing team in Smithfield.

Reporting to the Raw Materials Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for planning and replenishing raw material inventory to support manufacturing operations across multiple sites.

You’ll work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure material availability while balancing inventory, service levels and working capital objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute raw material supply plans to support manufacturing requirements.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in Supply Planning, Materials Planning, Purchasing or Inventory Management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building capabilities.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• High attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience working with local and international suppliers and managing supply risk.
• SAP experience will be highly regarded.
• APICS/CPIM qualifications will be highly regarded.
