Job summary

Bega Group, a major Australian food company, is seeking a collaborative Supply Planner for our Chelsea Heights site in Melbourne. You will work with Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain teams to build effective production plans, balance inventory and ensure reliable product availability for customers.

The Chelsea Heights site in Melbourne’s south-east produces over 100 million litres annually across milk, milk-based beverages and creams.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply planning, production scheduling, or a similar supply chain role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and operational processes.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while building positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage short and mid-term production schedules.
• Partner with key stakeholders to align supply plans and operational requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and support product availability across sites and distribution centres.
• Analyse performance, identify issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support supply reviews, product launches, and planning activities.
