Job summary

Bega Group in Docklands, VIC is seeking a Materials Planner to ensure ingredients and packaging arrive on time, supporting production plans across our spreads and cheese network. You will closely collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to balance inventory, manage risks and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

This role offers a meaningful impact on product availability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials, demand or supply planning in a complex supply environment.
• Solid ERP knowledge, ideally M3.
• Excellent planning, time-management and decision-making in fast-paced FMCG.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ingredient and packaging replenishment to support production plans.
• Manage inventory holdings balancing production, contracts, supplier constraints and warehouse capacity.
• Minimise obsolete inventory, waste and write-offs.
• Build relationships with manufacturing sites and suppliers; first point of contact for material issues.
• Identify supply risks and contribute to cost avoidance and continuous improvement initiatives.
