Job summary

SEEK.com.au is seeking a hands-on Supply Chain & Inventory Planning Specialist to oversee end-to-end inventory, demand and supply planning, international logistics and supplier coordination. You will move between forecasting, replenishment and shipping to keep stock aligned with business needs.

About the Opportunity

You'll play an important role in supporting and improving end-to-end supply chain operations, working across demand forecasting, inventory planning, supply coordination, international shipping and logistics.

We need someone who understands how these functions connect and can confidently move between them to identify challenges, improve processes and maintain operational efficiency.

Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:

• Managing and improving inventory planning, stock availability and replenishment processes.

• Supporting demand forecasting and supply planning to balance stock availability with business requirements.

• Coordinating with international suppliers, particularly those based in Asia, to manage production timelines, purchase orders and supply commitments.

• Overseeing international shipping, freight and logistics coordination, including identifying potential delays and resolving issues.

• Using NetSuite and Netstock to support planning, reporting, inventory management and operational decision-making.

• Analysing supply chain performance, identifying risks and recommending practical improvements.

• Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain visibility across the supply chain.

• Identifying opportunities to streamline systems, processes and ways of working.

Our preference is to appoint someone on a full-time, permanent basis; however, we're also open to experienced candidates seeking a project-based, fixed-term opportunity.

About You

You're a versatile supply chain professional with broad experience and the confidence to operate across multiple disciplines.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Demonstrated experience across inventory management, demand planning, supply planning and logistics.

• Strong working knowledge of NetSuite and Netstock (essential).

• Experience coordinating supply chains involving overseas suppliers, ideally within Asia.

• An analytical mindset with strong forecasting, planning and problem-solving capabilities.

• Confidence working with complex inventory and supply chain data.

• The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical, hands-on execution.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• A proactive, adaptable approach and genuine enjoyment of solving complex operational challenges.

• Mandarin language proficiency would be highly regarded
