Job summary

Hidrive Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Supply Chain Assistant to support procurement and provide stores and logistics support in a hands-on, admin-heavy role. This 12-month fixed-term contract offers exposure to a growing Australian manufacturer and competitive remuneration.

Based at the Hidrive Goulburn office, you will assist with procurement tasks, raise POs, maintain data, support stocktakes, and contribute to ongoing departmental projects in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• This is predominantly an administration-based role requiring organised data handling.

Responsibilities

• Procurement activities and raising purchase orders.
• Follow up suppliers and manage administration.
• Process supplier warranty claims.
• Raise orders for internally manufactured stock items.
• Maintain supplier and inventory data.
• Assist with monthly stocktakes.
• Support data collection, reporting and record keeping for projects.

About the role

As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will primarily support the procurement activities of the department while also providing assistance across Stores and Logistics to support the broader Supply Chain team.

This is a predominantly administration-based role; however, there will be opportunities to assist with hands-on support in the Stores function as required.

This position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential for a permanent opportunity, subject to business needs.

Key Accountabilities

• Supporting the department's activities in line with established procedures, including:
• Procurement
• Raising purchase orders, supplier follow-up and associated administration.
• Processing supplier warranty claims.
• Raising orders for internally manufactured stock items.
• Maintaining supplier and inventory data.
• Assisting with monthly stocktakes.

Projects

• Supporting departmental projects through data collection, reporting and record keeping.
