Job summary

Civmec Construction & Engineering Pty Ltd in Perth is looking for a skilled Supervisor for Structural, Mechanical and Piping (SMP) works on the Eneabba Refinery project. Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising SMP works in major construction or heavy industry.
• Experience overseeing piping installation, commissioning, and structural/mechanical assembly.
• Background supervising fabrication and installation of pressure vessels, tanks, and structural steel.

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage Structural, Mechanical and Piping (SMP) works across the Eneabba Refinery project
• Lead and supervise site crews to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality execution
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and client representatives
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, engineering specifications and project schedules
• Conduct site inspections and verify work meets engineering and client requirements
• Identify and resolve on‑site issues to maintain productivity and minimise delays
• Assist with planning and sequencing of SMP works to optimise resources
• Maintain accurate daily records, progress updates and incident reporting
• Promote continuous improvement and uphold Civmec’s values across all site activities

About You

• Proven experience supervising SMP works in major construction or heavy industry
• Trade qualification in Pipefitting or Boilermaking (highly regarded)
• Experience overseeing piping installation, commissioning and structural/mechanical assembly
• Background supervising fabrication and installation of pressure vessels, tanks and structural steel
• S26 Certification
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills
• A commitment to safety, quality and performance
