Job summary

Mineral Resources is restarting Bald Hill Lithium Mine near Kambalda. We seek an experienced Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to shape the workshop, lead continuous improvement, and manage technicians for safe, efficient resource use. The role operates on a 2:1 roster (7 days on, 7 nights, 7x) with a Perth-based roster flow and site allowances.

You will drive maintenance planning using CMMS, mentor a high‑performing team, and uphold a strong safety culture while delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification with hands-on management experience.
• Experience on large mobile plant equipment, drills preferred.
• Experience managing HME maintenance and breakdowns.
• Strong Excel and database management skills.
• Proven leadership supporting a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

• Identify and fix defects to keep mobile equipment operating.
• Lead and support the team to deliver work on time and within budget.
• Monitor performance, provide training, mentoring, and coaching.
• Use a CMMS to develop and manage maintenance plans.
• Review plans and reports to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to adjust work scopes as needed.
• Develop and standardise maintenance systems and procedures.
• Plan daily/weekly mobile maintenance activities and resolve challenges.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with regulations.

The Role

Our Bald Hill Mining Operations are looking to hear from experienced MEM Supervisors. These roles are 2:1 (7d,7n,7x) roster from Perth.

As a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you will shape our workshop, lead continuous improvement, and manage a team of technicians to ensure safe and efficient use of resources. Your commitment to safety will be key to maintaining our strong safety culture and achieving high standards

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and fix defects to ensure mobile equipment operates effectively.
• Lead and support your team to deliver work on time and within budget.
• Monitor team performance, providing training, mentoring, and coaching as needed.
• Use a CMMS to develop and manage maintenance plans for greater efficiency.
• Review plans and reports to drive continuous improvement.
• Work with stakeholders to adjust work scopes as required.
• Help develop and standardise maintenance systems and procedures.
• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly mobile maintenance activities, overcoming technical and logistical challenges.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all work complies with statutory and safety regulations.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Relevant trade qualification coupled with significant hands-on management experience
• Experience on large Mobile Plant equipment, including drills, would be highly regarded
• Experience managing HME planned maintenance and breakdowns
• High degree of computer literacy including the use of Microsoft Excel and database management systems
• Significant demonstrated leadership which supports a high-performance culture
• Strong experience in mobile equipment maintenance and development of equipment performance strategies
