Job summary

Rostrevor Group in Victoria is seeking a Supervisor - Mobile Crushing to lead a skilled team of mobile crusher operators across projects. The role requires hands-on supervision, safety leadership, and the ability to coordinate daily activities to keep sites productive and compliant.

You will mentor operators, ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently, and maintain accurate records while liaising with project managers to meet deliverables.

Qualifications

• Significant experience (5+ years) in a leading hand or supervisor role in mobile crushing.
• Strong technical knowledge of mobile crushing equipment and operations.
• Experience supervising teams of 10+ people is preferred.
• Australian work rights required for this position.

Job description

As a Supervisor - Mobile Crushing, you will play a key role in the success of Rostrevor Group's operations. This is a full-time position based in Victoria and travel to work interstate when needed, you will be responsible for supervising a team of mobile crusher operators and ensuring efficient and safe operations.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise a team of mobile crusher operators and coordinate their daily activities
• Ensure all mobile crushing equipment is operated safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the mobile crushing operations
• Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise during operations
• Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to less experienced team members
• Promote a positive and safety-focused work culture

What we're looking for

• Significant experience (5+ years) working as a Leading Hand or Supervisor in a mobile crushing environment
• Experience with mobile crushing equipment is preferred, however general mining supervision experience is also acceptable
• Strong technical knowledge of mobile crushing equipment and operations
• Proven ability to effectively lead and manage a team of operators
• Minimum experience supervising teams of 10 or more people is required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to maintaining high safety standards
• Ability to work in a remote location and adapt to changing work environments
• Relevant qualifications in mining, engineering or a related field would be highly regarded
• Australian work rights are required for this position
