Genesis Mining Services (GMS) is recruiting a Mining Supervisor - Open Pit to lead day-to-day mine activities and oversee a diverse team in Western Australia. The role emphasizes safety, leadership, and developing staff while contributing to a growing operation.

The successful candidate will bring a strong operational background, 5+ years in open pit mining, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Current C Class driver's licence (manual) required.
• Minimum 5 years' open pit mining or quarrying experience with mining equipment.
• Supervisor S26 Certificate or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

We are looking for a highly motivated Mining Supervisor - Open Pit to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background and a genuine commitment to safety, leadership and developing their team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current C Class Driver's Licence (manual)

• Supervisor S26 Certificate
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
• Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• A collaborative approach with demonstrated team-building capabilities
• A strong commitment to safety and operational performance
