Job summary

Genesis Mining Services (GMS) seeks a Mining Supervisor – Open Pit to oversee daily mine activities and lead a safety-focused team on site. You will drive production while maintaining strong teamwork and engagement across shifts.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in open pit mining, holds a S26 Supervisor Certificate, and demonstrates practical leadership with excellent communication skills. FIFO roster from Perth to Leonora; competitive remuneration and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current C Class Driver’s Licence (manual) is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in open pit mining or quarrying.
• Supervisor S26 Certificate is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate a diverse team.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; presentation ability.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day mining activities and supervise the workforce.
• Lead safety, quality, and production targets across open pit operations.
• Collaborate with management to develop and mentor the team.
• Ensure compliance with policies and operational procedures.
