Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd in Australia is seeking a Supervisor: Mine Control to join the Mining department. You will provide day-to-day supervision to mine controllers and ensure the Fleet Management System is used to deliver the mine plan optimally.

Reporting to the Unit manager: Surfacer Mining, you will ensure data integrity of all mining data and support a safe, productive operation with strong leadership of the Mine Control team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an integrated planning process with a Fleet Management System (FMS), preferably WENCO.
• Experience in supporting Fleet Management Systems and related technologies.
• Experience in working in a Mine control room.
• Knowledge of OHS legislative requirements.
• Strong operational knowledge of mining cycles.

Responsabilités

• Provide ownership of Mine Control including the Fleet Management System.
• Manage change, system configuration and providing operational guidance to the mine controllers and support teams.
• Assist in ensuring the mining operation meets targets in a safe, productive and efficient manner.
• Provide leadership and coaching to the Mine Control team.
• Daily support to database control and administration of the department.
• Support supervisors and operators in achieving targets and compliance to plan.
• Liaise with stakeholders to improve processes and data integrity.
• Perform regular audits to ensure documented systems and processes are followed.
• Create standards for system configuration and assist with incident ownership and advanced troubleshooting.
• Manage incident resolution, system performance monitoring, and coordination with operations, maintenance and vendor support.
• Serve as central communication for mine production and safety, including emergencies.

Gold Fields – Gruyere is currently seeking a Supervisor: Mine Control, to join their Mining department.

Reporting to the Unit manager: Surfacer Mining, you will provide day to day operation supervision to the mine controllers ensuring that they are utilising the FMS to deliver the mine plan optimally.You will be responsible for ensuring data integrity of all mining physicals and equipment states.

This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off, Fly in Fly out from Perth.

Duties of the role:

• Provide ownership of Mine Control including the Fleet Management System

• Perform regular audits to ensure documented systems and processes are followed by operators and Mine Controllers for the integrity of the data
• Creating the standards for system configuration and assist with incident ownership and advanced troubleshooting
• Manage incident resolution, system performance monitoring, and coordination between operations, maintenance and vendor support teams.
• Serve as central communication personnel for mine production and safety, including emergency events

About You:

• Previous experience leading an integrated planning process with a Fleet Management System (FMS), preferably WENCO
• Experienced in Supporting Fleet Management Systems and related technologies
• Experienced in working in a Mine control room
• Knowledge of OHS legislative requirements will further strengthen your application.
• Strong operational knowledge of mining cycles
