Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at our Curragh Site to lead, develop and support our maintenance team. Based near Blackwater, this role offers 7/7 day shift roster with FIFO from Brisbane, DIDO or residential options.

You will partner with Operations, HSEQ and other departments to deliver safe, reliable maintenance outcomes, coach technicians, and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within maintenance, mining, heavy industry or a transferable environment.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop team members.
• Strong planning and scheduling capability.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with site procedures and HSEQ requirements.
• Providing visible in-field leadership and supporting your team to work safely and effectively.
• Coaching and developing Maintenance Technicians to build capability across the team.
• Planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure efficient execution of work.
• Collaborating closely with Operations and other stakeholders to meet site requirements and priorities.
• Managing team performance and fostering a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
• Supporting maintenance execution, investigations, risk reviews and site compliance activities.
• Driving effective communication between Maintenance, Operations and other site departments.

The Role

Due to continued growth within the organisation, Dyno Nobel is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at our Curragh Site to lead, develop and support our maintenance team.

Based in Curragh, approximately 15km from Blackwater, FIFO from Brisbane, residential or DIDO arrangements are supported.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager East, this role is ideal for a leader who enjoys developing people, building strong relationships across departments and creating a positive, accountable team culture. Working closely with Maintenance Technicians, Operations and HSE, you will play a key role in ensuring safe, reliable and efficient maintenance outcomes across the site.

You Will Also Be Responsible For

The Site

Located at Curragh’s Coronado mine – 13km from Blackwater, 1 hour from Emerald or 2.5 hours from Rockhampton multiple residential, DIDO or FIFO options exist.

You will be working alongside a dedicated planner, 2 maintenance supervisors managing a team of up to 4 technicians - working an offset 7x7 roster supporting maintenance deliverables at our Coronado Curragh operations

All basic and specialised tooling is provided.
