Job summary

Lynas Rare Earths is seeking a Supervisor, Logistics & Warehousing for its Mt Weld site. The role leads day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations, coordinating inbound/outbound freight, safety compliance, and site services while aligning with global standards. FIFO from Perth is offered.

Reporting to the Superintendent, you will ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operations, manage contractors, and drive improvements across the site’s logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising logistics, warehousing or freight operations in a large industrial site or mining environment.
• Experience coordinating contractors, freight providers and site services.
• Strong planning, problem solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Sound understanding of safety and compliance requirements within logistics environments.

Responsibilities

• Safety, Compliance & Governance: champion safety standards, report hazards and ensure compliance of all personnel.
• Operational Supervision: supervise daily logistics and warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking and dispatch.
• Logistics Execution: coordinate inbound/outbound freight and monitor transport schedules.
• Warehousing Operations: maintain stock handling, labeling, storage and segregation; support cycle counts.
• Reporting & Communication: provide daily updates and report risks and improvements; support data capture for reports.
• Culture Alignment & Change Adaptation: implement global processes and adapt to new systems with a positive mindset.
• Cross-site Collaboration: work with LAMP (Malaysia), Kalgoorlie and Mt Weld as one global team.

The Opportunity:

Lynas Rare Earths is seeking a Supervisor, Logistics & Warehousing to lead the day-to-day execution of logistics and warehouse operations across our Mt Weld (MTW) site. This is a permanent role with Lynas Rare Earths based at Mt Weld Operations and offer a family friendly roster of 8 days on 6 days off fly in fly out (FIFO) from Perth.

Reporting to the Superintendent, Logistics & Warehousing this role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient and compliant logistics and warehousing activities that support plant operations and production requirements.

You will act as the on-ground operational leader, translating plans, priorities and global logistics standards into consistent, high-quality execution across site operations, while supporting alignment with Lynas’ global logistics and warehousing framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety, Compliance & Governance

• Champion and enforce Lynas safety standards, site rules and procedures
• Identify and report hazards, incidents and non-conformances
• Ensure all team members and contractors comply with site safety and logistics requirements
• Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership and safe work practices

Operational Supervision

• Supervise daily logistics and warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking and dispatch
• Allocate work to team members and contractors to meet operational priorities
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and Work Instructions at all times

Logistics Execution

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements in line with site plans
• Monitor transport schedules and elevate delays or issues
• Ensure correct documentation accompanies all movements

Warehousing Operations

• Maintain accurate stock handling, labelling, storage and segregation
• Support stocktakes, cycle counts and audit readiness
• Ensure warehouse areas remain safe, organised and compliant

Reporting & Communication

• Provide daily operational updates to the Superintendent
• Record and report operational issues, risks and improvement opportunities
• Support accurate data capture for daily, weekly and monthly reporting
• Lead by example with professionalism, discipline and strong work ethic
• Support onboarding, training and coaching of logistics and warehouse personnel
• Foster teamwork and strong working relationships across site

Culture Alignment & Change Adaptation

• Support implementation of global logistics and warehousing processes across site
• Adapt to new systems, workflows and operational changes with a positive mindset
• Provide constructive feedback and improvement ideas to enhance operational efficiency
• Work collaboratively across LAMP (Malaysia), Kalgoorlie and Mt Weld as one aligned global team

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or Commerce
• Valid WA Driver’s Licence
• High Risk Work Licence (Forklift)
