Glencore Australia’s McArthur River Mine laboratory seeks an experienced Supervisor Laboratory to lead a NATA-accredited facility on a FIFO 15/13 roster, delivering accurate data and maintaining quality systems.
Reporting to Metallurgy Superintendent, you will mentor a multidisciplinary lab team, oversee equipment maintenance, budgeting, and continuous improvement while upholding safety and stakeholder requirements.
Glencore's McArthur River Mine (MRM) is a world-class zinc-lead mine with a strong future. Located in the Gulf of Carpentaria, approximately 900 km southeast of Darwin and 64 km from Borroloola, MRM operates a large-scale open-cut mine producing zinc, lead and silver.
We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to join our team on a FIFO 15 days on / 13 days off roster, providing leadership across our Chemical and Environmental Laboratories.
Reporting to the Superintendent of Metallurgy your leadership will be key to setting and maintaining the laboratory standards, you will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the safety, performance, quality and continuous improvement of laboratory operations.
You will lead and develop a high-performing laboratory team responsible for delivering accurate, reliable and timely response. As a NATA-accredited laboratory, maintaining rigorous standards, quality systems and compliance requirements will be a key focus of the role.
