Job summary

Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Functions Supervisor to join our team at the iconic MCG. You will work closely with the functions, sales and operations teams to oversee various functions and drive exceptional guest service in this thriving sporting and entertainment venue.

Key duties include coordinating and supervising event setup, service and pack-down, setting up dining areas and venues to client requirements, ensuring everything is arranged properly, conducting pre-event

Qualifications

• Experience in functions supervision.
• Experience in events is beneficial.
• Strong skills in computer literacy, communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work varied hours to meet business demands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise event setup, service, and pack-down activities.
• Set up dining areas, cafés, meeting rooms, conference spaces, banquet halls, and event venues according to client requirements.
• Ensure tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, buffet stations, coffee stations, and service areas are correctly arranged.
• Conduct pre-event inspections to ensure venue presentation and operational readiness.
• Manage event timelines and ensure all activities run according to schedule.
