Delaware North Australia & New Zealand is seeking a full-time Functions Supervisor for the iconic MCG. You will collaborate with functions, sales, and operations teams to oversee events and deliver exceptional guest service in a premier venue.

The role involves coordinating setup, seat and service area arrangements, and ensuring readiness according to client requirements with strong emphasis on teamwork and attention to detail.

• Experience in functions supervision.
• Experience in events is beneficial.
• Strong skills in computer literacy, communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work varied hours to meet business demands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise event setup, service, and pack-down activities.
• Set up dining areas, cafés, meeting rooms, conference spaces, banquet halls, and event venues according to client requirements.
• Ensure tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, buffet stations, coffee stations, and service areas are correctly arranged.
• Conduct pre-event inspections to ensure venue presentation and operational readiness.
• Manage event timelines and ensure all activities run according to schedule.

As Functions Supervisor, you will be working closely with the functions, sales, and operations teams, including kitchens, to use your expertise to oversee various functions.
