Job summary

Civmec Construction & Engineering Pty Ltd in Port Hedland, WA, is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead the electrical crews on the BHP Bucket Wheel Reclaimer Upgrade project, delivering critical work at a leading mining operation.

This role requires S26 Certification, WA Electrical Licence, First Aid, Arc Flash & Low Volt, and a proven track record supervising SMP works in heavy industry. You will mentor electricians, coordinate installations, and ensure safety and milestones.

Qualifications

• S26 Certification is mandatory.
• WA Electrical Licence is required.
• First Aid & CPR certification is required.
• Arc Flash & Low Voltage training is required.
• Experience supervising SMP works in major construction or heavy industry is preferred.
• Experience overseeing piping installation, commissioning and structural/mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical crews across the BWR7 project.
• Coordinate electrical installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with project specifications and site procedures.
• Monitor daily productivity, manage work fronts and support achievement of project milestones.
• Work closely with engineering, quality, commissioning and operations teams.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and technical guidance to electricians and leading hands.

The Role
