Job summary

DT Infrastructure is seeking a Supervisory professional to lead electrical activities on a major renewable energy project in NSW. You will oversee day-to-day supervision of electrical crews and subcontractors, ensure installation of PV arrays, HV/LV systems, and grid connections, and maintain compliance with Australian standards and WHS.

• Electrical trade qualification and NSW electrical licence required.
• Proven experience as a Supervisor on large-scale construction projects, renewables or HV desirable.
• Strong leadership and IPD-style coordination skills with diverse site teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision to electrical crews, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Oversee installation of DC, AC and HV systems including PV arrays, inverters, switchgear, transformers and grid‑connection infrastructure.
• Coordinate work sequencing, allocation and progress tracking to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with Australian Standards, network requirements, WHS legislation and project specifications.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections and maintain detailed documentation.
• Work with Project Managers, Engineers and HSE teams to manage risks and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure strict adherence to site safety and support commissioning activities.

Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent our project team is looking to bolster the Electrical team with the appointment of an additional Supervisor with strong technical expertise in large-scale solar farm construction and high-voltage electrical infrastructure. The successful candidate will provide work across all electrical works, ensuring strict adherence to engineering specifications, network standards, Australian legislation, and commissioning protocols.
This is a Site-based position (DIDO) on a major renewable energy construction project with a rostered working arrangement (9/5), with accommodation and allowances provided as applicable.

Your typical responsibilities will include but not limited to,

• Provide day‑to‑day supervision to electrical crews, subcontractors and site personnel
• Oversee installation of DC, AC and HV electrical systems, including PV arrays, inverters, switchgear, transformers and grid‑connection infrastructure
• Coordinate work sequencing, allocation and progress tracking to ensure on‑time delivery

About You

• Electrical trade qualification and NSW electrical licence
• Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar role on large‑scale construction projects—renewables or HV experience highly desirable
• Strong working knowledge of HV/LV systems, solar farm construction and grid‑connection requirements
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and manage diverse site teams
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and delivery
