Job summary

Delta Facilities Management is seeking a dedicated Supervisor – Cleaning to lead a dynamic on-site team at the Defence base in Puckapunyal. You will optimise rosters, oversee front-of-house accommodation bookings and drive safe cleaning practices, with a clear focus on team motivation and job safety analysis.

The role requires Australian citizenship, a valid driver’s license, and proven cleaning or housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar cleaner/housekeeper role.
• Chemical handling experience is advantageous.
• Citizenship required for Defence Baseline Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

THE POSITION

• Managing a dynamic team to provide encouraging guidance and success in their work
• Developing rosters of scheduled and reactive cleaning requirements.
• Manage front of house office requirements for accommodation bookings and general enquiries.
• Strong view in support of Job Safety Analysis and well-being
• Encourage team commitment and motivation
• Maintain up to date cleaning processes and procedures, and assist in review of process and procedures

THE PERSON

• Hold fullAustralian Citizenship due to the secure nature of the site
• Hold a valid Australian driver's license and reliable transportation to get to the base
• Experience in a similar position as a cleaner or housekeeper
• Chemical handling experience is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and take pride in your work is essential
• Be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills
• A positive attitude and friendly attitude
