Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is seeking a Supervisor to join the Mt Piper – Lithgow NSW outage project. The role involves supervising a major outage, coordinating crews and resources, and delivering maintenance in line with schedule and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Trade Certificate, White Card, a valid driver’s license and a WA H & Confined Space qualification. This is a casual, day-shift position with accommodation provided and competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, materials and processes.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supervising.
• Strong leadership, organizational and decision-making skills.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a major outage of a unit at a Power Station and ensure safe, on-time delivery of planned maintenance.
• Coordinate crews, contractors and resources to meet scope, schedule and safety requirements.
• Enforce safety procedures, isolation and permit systems; maintain documentation and timesheets.
• Plan, prioritise and sequence tasks to meet shutdown milestones; monitor progress and report to management.
• Coordinate resources, tools and materials to avoid delays and ensure quality workmanship.

UGL’s Industrial & Resources division are currently seeking a supervisor to join our Mt Piper – Lithgow NSW for an upcoming outage. **On Offer:** * ASAP Start * Casual Role * Day Shift * 11-hour shifts, Monday through till Saturday * Accommodation provided * Competitive remuneration The role will be responsible for supervising a major outage of a unit at a Power Station, safely delivering planned maintenance within the scheduled timeframe, coordinating crews, contractors, and resources to ensure all work is completed efficiently, in line with schedule, scope, and safety requirements * Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures, isolations and permit systems * Supervise crews and contractors, ensure work is completed to scope, quality standards, and schedule * Plan, prioritise, and sequence tasks to meet shutdown milestones * Monitor progress and provide regular updates to shutdown management and stakeholders * Coordinate resources, tools, and materials to avoid delays in disruption * Maintain accurate documentation * Daily Timesheet keeping * Conduct toolbox talks * Work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously * Comply with safety standards and local regulations **Skills Required:** * Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, materials and processes * A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supervising * Demonstrated experience in managing teams and resources successfully * Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills * Solid interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with teams and stakeholders **Qualifications Required** * Trade Certificate * White Card * Drive License * WAH & Confined Space - completed within 2 years **About Us** UGL is well-known and respected for providing end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services within, rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables and resources, water and defence markets.
