Job summary

Australia Post Group in Albury is seeking a Supervisor to lead an operational team and drive safe, efficient parcel handling at the North Albury facility.

You'll coordinate day-to-day activities, manage performance, and foster a culture of safety, service and continuous improvement, with opportunities to develop across the business.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, including rostering, workload allocation and performance against productivity and cost targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, Chain of Responsibility requirements and operational procedures.
• Coach, develop and support your team while setting clear expectations and managing performance.
• Monitor operational performance and service levels to support positive customer outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, safety and operational efficiency.

As a Supervisor, you’ll lead and motivate an operational team to deliver safe, efficient and reliable outcomes. You’ll coordinate day‑to‑day activities, manage performance against operational targets and create a positive team culture focused on safety, service and continuous improvement.

You’ll also

• Lead daily operations, including rostering, workload allocation and performance against productivity and cost targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, Chain of Responsibility requirements and operational procedures.
• Coach, develop and support your team while setting clear expectations and managing performance.

About you

You’re an experienced operational leader who knows how to motivate teams and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment. You’re confident managing competing priorities, navigating challenging people situations and building strong relationships across the business.

You’ll also

• Bring demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing frontline operational teams.
• Have a strong understanding of operational safety, compliance and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
• Be experienced in managing performance, resolving conflict and working within a unionised environment.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, using operational data to support decision‑making.
• Bring experience in rostering, cost management, productivity targets and continuous improvement.
