Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Melbourne is seeking experienced HR Drivers to join our local delivery team. You will perform local deliveries to customer sites, maintain accurate records with the PDA, and build strong relationships with customers in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of consignment to various customer sites such as major DCs, shopping centres, wholesales & businesses
• Perform both local and shuttle duties as required
• Build strong relationships with customers
• Complete the secure delivery of items within specified time frames
• Follow company procedures associated with pre start checks, restraint of loads and securing of vehicle
• Adherence to stringent security requirements
• Maintain accurate records using the PDA

Requirements

• Current HR licence essential
• Previous experience performing local deliveries within the Melbourne area
• "Can Do" attitude with a high standard of customer service
• Clear communication skills both written and verbal
• Knowledge of the Melbourne metro area
• Ability to follow DHL policies & procedures
• Willingness to provide a current full Driving Record when requested
• Willingness to undergo a Security Clearance & Pre Employment Medical as part of the recruitment process
