Unity College Outside School Hours Care in Caloundra West is seeking an experienced OSHC Coordinator to lead the service, develop engaging educational programs and support the wellbeing and development of school-aged children. You will manage day-to-day operations and mentor a dedicated team within Catholic Early EdCare.

You will be supported by Catholic Early EdCare’s leadership network, with mentoring, professional development and ongoing support to achieve the best outcomes for children,

Qualifications

• Diploma qualified in Children’s Services or Early Childhood Education (ACECQA equivalent).
• Leadership experience in OSHC or education sector.
• Current Queensland Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• Consent to be the Nominated Supervisor.
• Knowledge of National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place and National Law and Regulations.
• Experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).

Responsabilités

• Lead daily operations of the OSHC service and ensure high-quality education and care.
• Develop, implement and evaluate engaging programs reflecting children’s interests and needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment for all children.
• Mentor and develop a dedicated Educator team.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, staff and the community.
• Ensure service operates in accordance with regulatory frameworks.
• Manage rostering, documentation and quality improvement processes.
• Foster strong partnerships with the school community.
• Promote the service within the local community in line with CEEC’s philosophy.
• Provide opportunities for engaging experiences and excursions during vacation care.
• Contribute to a positive team culture where staff feel supported.
