Job summary

Bolton Clarke Residential Aged Care Opportunities Sunshine Coast QLD is seeking a dedicated Chef for a busy HACCP-approved Cook Chill kitchen. You will deliver fresh, high-quality meals to the Aged Care sector, reporting to the General Manager and ensuring nutritious, well-balanced meals while upholding food safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• A current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Knowledge of good hygiene practices.
• Professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food service activities follow the Food Safety Program (FSP) and Bolton Clarke standards.
• Assist with developing, maintaining, and adhering to standardised recipes.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals in line with the Bolton Clarke menu.
• Support kitchen operations including stock control, ordering, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain WHS compliance and uphold hygiene of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Manage food and kitchen budgets in consultation with the General Manager.
• Assist with purchasing to maintain stock levels.
• Foster a positive, team-focused working environment.
• Perform other duties as directed by the General Manager.
