Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026-2027. This paid, in-person, 12-week internship offers hands-on design experience across electronics, firmware, and system integration in a fast-paced defense tech environment.

You will design electronics from concept to prototype, troubleshoot across hardware and software, and develop firmware for microcontrollers and embedded Linux. Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams is required.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
• Ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
• Ability to complete an in-person 12-week internship in one of our offices in summer 2026-27.

Responsibilities

• Design electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, PCB design, and system level integration.
• Troubleshoot issues across electrical and software boundaries with lab equipment and software tools.
• Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers, embedded Linux systems, and supporting tools.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver working products.
• Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, deployments, and customer hardware.
• Contribute to multiple projects at different stages concurrently.
