Job summary

Anduril Industries invites applications for an Electrical Engineering Intern position for Summer 2026-27 in Sydney. The paid, in-person internship spans 12 weeks and focuses on electronics design, firmware development, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

You will design hardware from concept to prototype, troubleshoot across electrical and software boundaries, and work with teams across electrical, mechanical, software, and test engineering. This is an in-person, office-based role in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be returning to school after internship for at least one quarter/semester.
• Ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
• Able to complete a 12-week in-person internship in Summer 2026-27 at one of our offices.

Responsibilities

• Design electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, PCB design, and system level integration.
• Troubleshoot issues spanning electrical and software boundaries with lab equipment and debugging tools.
• Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers, embedded Linux systems, and supporting development & testing tools.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products.
• Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, deployments, and customer-operated hardware.
• Concurrently manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages.
