Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026-2027. This paid, in-person 12-week internship offers hands-on hardware and software experience in a defense-tech environment.

You will design electronics from concept to prototype, troubleshoot across electrical and software boundaries, and develop firmware for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems. Collaboration with multiple engineering disciplines is expected.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be returning to school after the internship to continue studies for at least one quarter/semester.
• Ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
• Must complete a 12-week in-person internship in one of our offices in summer 2026-27.

Responsibilities

• Design electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection and PCB design.
• Troubleshoot electrical and software boundary issues using lab equipment and software debugging tools.
• Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers, embedded Linux systems, and testing tools.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver products.
• Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, deployments, and customer-operated hardware.
• Manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages.
