Job summary

YMCA Victoria is seeking a Duty Manager for the Drouin Outdoor Pool for the 2026-27 summer season. You will hold delegated authority of the Centre Manager and supervise on-shift operations across programs and services.

Ideal candidates will have a strong focus on safety, the ability to lead autonomously, and a commitment to the wellbeing of children and facility users. This casual role offers an hourly rate up to $42.35 plus superannuation and YMCA benefits.

Qualifications

• Essential pool lifeguard certification and CPR/First Aid qualifications.
• Demonstrated ability to apply safety procedures in aquatic facilities.
• Experience in supervising or leading a team is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as Duty Manager with delegated authority during shifts.
• Oversee centre programs and services and supervise on-site operations.
• Maintain awareness of Emergency Action Plan and safety protocols.

Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate

HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
