Job summary

Fugro-Geoteam AS seeks a Project Engineer to join our established engineering team for upcoming subsea and ROV projects. Based in West Perth with occasional site visits and offshore work, you will liaise with project teams to execute scopes and ensure safety and quality compliance.

You should have a background in project/mechanical engineering within subsea or oil & gas sectors, and be ready for offshore survival training if required. The role offers hybrid work and dynamic project exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience in project engineering or mechanical engineering in subsea, marine, oil & gas and mining.
• Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical/mechatronic/structural/ocean engineering or naval architecture.
• MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and specialist engineering software (Solidworks, Orcaflex) knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Project Manager and engineers to execute project workscopes with client interfacing.
• Control of work packages through design review, constructability, HAZID and offshore execution.
• Manage subcontractors and equipment manufacturers, including documentation and SIT & FATs oversight.
• Complete engineering analysis and documentation delivery and manage installation aid design or sea fastening fabrication.
• Ensure equipment and personnel readiness for mobilisation and safety compliance.
