Job summary

Reach Subsea is seeking an HSEQ Engineer to join our Perth team and drive health, safety, environment and quality across the group. You will advise, guide and support on HSEQ matters, working with project managers, offshore crews and clients to uphold high standards and safe project execution.

The successful candidate will have a BSc or higher in HSEQ, strong knowledge of ISO standards, QA and auditing, and the ability to travel for mobilisations and site inductions.

Qualifications

• BSc or higher in HSEQ or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HSEQ standards, relevant legislation, QA, auditing and best practices.
• Knowledge of vessel and marine operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work across teams/projects.
• Willingness to travel for mobilisations, site inductions and offshore requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and contribute to improvements of the Reach Management System in line with relevant ISO standards and regulations.
• Identify and support improvements within HSE-related processes.
• Support Project Managers and act as an HSEQ resource within project teams.
• Conduct HAZID, HAZOP and other relevant safety meetings.
• Support reporting, investigations and follow-up through LANDAX.
• Ensure lessons learned from projects are implemented and shared across the organisation.
• Support employees, managers, projects and the Commercial team with HSEQ-related matters.
• Support chemical/COSHH/substitution evaluations together with relevant personnel.
