Job summary

Body Fit Training is seeking a high-performing Studio Manager for our BFT Richmond studio. You will lead a team of trainers, own the member experience, drive growth, and report to the franchise owner to achieve profitability aspirations.

The role splits time between on-floor coaching and admin duties. Ideal candidates have Cert 4 in Fitness (or higher), Fitness Registration, CPR/First Aid, and proven leadership in fitness clubs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading gym teams and operations.
• Background in personal training is preferred.
• Cert 4 in Fitness or higher is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Trainers and manage the member training experience.
• Drive studio growth and profitability in collaboration with the owner/franchisee.
• Split duties between on-floor classes and administrative tasks.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and sales.

BFT Managers are the face of our business. They are an integral part of each and everything we do and are critical to the growth of our member base - from making members feel welcome the moment they step into our studios, to motivating, inspiring, and guiding them through our 50-minute workouts, to playing an active role in recruiting new members and retaining our existing ones. BFT Managers and Trainers use their knowledge, skills, and abilities to teach safe and effective exercise at all times ... and will use their great personalities to make BFT the best training experience anywhere!

As the Studio Manager, you will oversee our Trainers, own all aspects of the member training experience, and work closely with the owner/franchisee to deliver the studio's member growth and profitability aspirations.

This job will be half working on the floor, taking classes and the other half admin.

Do you have the following experience and qualities:

• Managing a team
• Previous experience in personal training, preferably group training
• Cert 3 and 4 in Personal Training or higher
• Proven success in building and sustaining a client base
• Ability to build an awesome member community
