Body Fit Training in Richmond seeks an energetic Studio Manager to lead a high-performing studio. You’ll split time between coaching on the gym floor and handling administrative duties, driving member growth and profitability with the franchise network.

The role requires prior studio or fitness team leadership, strong sales and customer service skills, and a passion for building a thriving member community within a dynamic group training environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a gym or studio team.
• Background in personal or group training.
• Cert 3/4 in Fitness or PT, with current registration.
• Proven ability to recruit, retain and service members.
• Excellent customer service and sales capabilities.
• Able to balance floor coaching with administrative duties.
• Demonstrated integrity and initiative in a fitness environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Trainers and the member training experience.
• Manage studio operations to drive member growth and profitability.
• Split time between on-floor sessions and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the owner/franchisee to meet studio targets.

They are an integral part of each and everything we do and are critical to the growth of our member base - from making members feel welcome the moment they step into our studios, to motivating, inspiring, and guiding them through our 50-minute workouts, to playing an active role in recruiting new members and retaining our existing ones. BFT Managers and Trainers use their knowledge, skills, and abilities to teach safe and effective exercise at all times ... and will use their great personalities to make BFT the best training experience anywhere!

As the Studio Manager, you will oversee our Trainers, own all aspects of the member training experience, and work closely with the owner/franchisee to deliver the studio's member growth and profitability aspirations.

This job will be half working on the floor, taking classes and the other half admin.

ABOUT YOU

Do you have the following experience and qualities:

Managing a team

Previous experience in personal training, preferably group training

Cert 3 and 4 in Personal Training or higher

Proven success in building and sustaining a client base

Ability to build an awesome member community

Highly motivated and have a passion to succeed

Have exceptional customer service and sales skills

Work well as part of a team

Flexibility and willingness to step outside the bounds of the role

Passion for the health and fitness industry and want to change people's lives

Creativity, drive, and initiative
