Lead a studio. Grow a community. Make an impact.
We’re looking for an experienced Studio Manager to lead the next chapter of BFT Macquarie Park. This is an opportunity for a passionate fitness professional to take ownership of a studio with an existing community, build on the relationships already in place and drive meaningful growth.
You’ll bring the energy to inspire a team, the commercial skills to grow a business and a genuine passion for helping people feel stronger, more confident and connected.
Body Fit Training brings together progressive strength and conditioning, expert coaching and the energy of group training. Founded in Melbourne, BFT takes training principles used in high-performance sport and makes them accessible to people at different fitness levels.
With varied 50-minute sessions, structured programming and heart-rate technology, members train with purpose and can see their progress over time. What brings it all together is the community: coaches and members encouraging each other, celebrating achievements and showing up together.
As Studio Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the day-to-day success and future growth of the studio. You’ll create an exceptional experience for members, support and motivate the coaching team, and turn your ideas into action.
You’ll be as comfortable building relationships on the studio floor as you are tracking performance, following up leads and finding new ways to connect with the local community.
The role starts in January, with the opportunity to work casual hours before commencing as Studio Manager. The role is 38 hours per week. Some weekend work is required, with arrangements open to negotiation.
Lead the day-to-day operations of the studio, ensuring it runs smoothly and delivers a consistently great member experience.
Develop and support the coaching team, fostering a positive, professional and energetic studio culture.
Drive membership growth through lead follow-up, sales conversations, local partnerships and community engagement.
Build on the strong community already in place, helping members feel welcomed, supported and motivated to stay.
Focus on member retention through meaningful relationships, regular engagement and recognition of member achievements.
Monitor studio performance, including membership, sales and retention, and take action to achieve growth goals.
Work with the studio owners to identify opportunities and bring new ideas to life.
Maintain high standards across studio presentation, safety and the overall BFT experience.
Proven experience running a fitness studio, with a track record of managing operations and contributing to business growth.
A minimum Certificate III in Fitness.
A genuine passion for group training and the positive impact it can have on people’s lives.
Confidence leading, developing and motivating a team.
Strong sales and relationship-building skills, with the ability to turn enquiries into lasting memberships.
A people-first approach and the ability to create a welcoming, inclusive environment.
Strong organisational skills, initiative and a willingness to take ownership.
A practical understanding of the numbers that drive a successful studio, including sales, membership and retention.
A positive, hands-on approach and the energy to be a visible presence in the studio.
$80,000 per year + super + generous incentives.
Free BFT membership and uniform provided.
Make a tangible impact on the growth and direction of the studio.
Lead an existing community and help make it even stronger.
Work with a recognised fitness brand built around purposeful training and connection.
Bring your ideas, experience and personality to a role where you can make a difference.
If you’ve successfully run a fitness studio, love group training and know how to bring people together, we’d love to hear from you.
