Job summary

The NSW Department of Education is seeking a Student Support Officer to work within schools across NSW. You will deliver targeted wellbeing support to students and partner with the wellbeing team and school counselling service to improve learning outcomes.

You will coordinate with external agencies, help create referral pathways for students and families, and support whole-school wellbeing initiatives aligned with evidence-based programs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in social work, youth work, welfare or related discipline.
• Knowledge of and commitment to Aboriginal education policies.
• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
