Mount Carmel Catholic College in Varroville, NSW, is seeking a School Support Officer - Student Wellbeing Officer to support pastoral care and student wellbeing. The 20 hours per fortnight role delivers targeted wellbeing programs and helps students, staff and families achieve positive school outcomes.

Working with leadership, you will implement PB4L, coordinate wellbeing initiatives, support data collection, and assist with transitions.

Qualificações

• Commitment to the mission and purpose of a Catholic School.
• Ability to handle confidential issues with sensitivity.
• Experience in a similar role (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Improve wellbeing, resilience and pro-social behaviours of students through small group interventions.
• Establish support networks for students with staff and the school community.
• Complete cyberbullying training within three months of commencing NSWP services.
• Collaborate with Government services and community agencies.
• Support students in times of transition.
• Assist data collection to evaluate wellbeing programs.
• Support whole-school PB4L and wellbeing priorities.
