Job summary

You will contribute to student welfare and wellbeing activities, with duties across streams such as pre-school, vision, hearing, and bilingual support. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander position.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work with students with emotional, physical or intellectual disabilities.
• Awareness of the needs of students with emotional, physical or intellectual disabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in a student support context.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for students with identified diverse learning needs under a teacher’s supervision.
• Deliver student welfare, health and wellbeing activities as required.
• Support specific streams/settings such as pre-school, vision, hearing and bilingual as needed.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment across classrooms and settings.
