Job summary

Pacific Valley Christian School in Yamba NSW is seeking a compassionate wellbeing professional to support student wellbeing and engagement across the school community. Qualifications

Qualifications in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Youth Work, Community Services, or a related field.
Experience working with children and young people in educational, community, wellbeing, or counselling settings.
Experience supporting student wellbeing, engagement, behaviour, or pastoral care programs.

Responsibilities

Providing wellbeing support and counselling services to students.
Supporting students experiencing social, emotional, behavioural, or learning challenges.
Developing positive partnerships with families and staff.
Assisting with student wellbeing programs and initiatives.
Collaborating with teachers and school leadership to support student outcomes.
Liaising with external specialists and support agencies.
Contributing to case management and coordinated wellbeing plans.
Supporting the school's pastoral care and Christian wellbeing framework.
Responding to critical incidents and other wellbeing matters as required.
